Industry heavyweights gather for PCD Marketing Advisory
Council annual meeting
PCD’s new value-added services get positive reaction
Marketing executives from some of the nation’s most prominent publishers and associations gathered March 29-30 at Palm Coast for the fulfillment provider’s annual Marketing Advisory Council (MAC) meeting.
Members of the Council in attendance included executives from U.S. News & World Report, AIM Media, Wellness Newsletter, the NRA, Dennis Publishing, Belvoir Publications and New York Magazine.
Executives from Primedia, F&W Publications, and World Publications also attended.
The meeting was hosted by Palm Coast Data President John Menough at the ocean-front Hammock Beach Resort in Palm Coast, which served as an inspired setting for the introduction of PCD’s new value-added services, as well as new information and future plans of the company’s existing services to the group.
However, the meeting was much more than a series of presentations. Set up in a roundtable format, strategic feedback from the council members was plentiful, and helpful. It is the reaction of the group to PCD’s plans that makes this particular event so beneficial to PCD and its clients.
“We look for guidance from the Council members to make sure our company stays in tune with the wants and needs of our clients,” said John Meneough, PCD President. “Our industry is so competitive, having face-to-face conversations with the top executives to make sure our strategic initiatives are in line with theirs is very valuable for us.”
Palm Coast Data’s value-added services include PCD inSight, a data visualization tool; PCD inDetail, a fulfillment system for membership and associations; PCD inForm, a historical records reporting tool; and PCD inTouch, a customer-centric customer service tool.
